Tips For Better Group Results

  • Use a photo where each face is at least a few hundred pixels wide
  • Front facing faces swap more cleanly than profile views
  • Even lighting across the group avoids mismatched skin tones
  • Avoid sunglasses, masks and hands across the face
  • JPG, PNG or WebP up to 12MB
  • Very wide group shots may need cropping into two halves

How do I swap multiple faces in one photo?

Upload a group photo and a single reference face, then press generate. Every face the detector finds in the group photo is replaced with the reference face in the same pass.

How many faces can be swapped at once?

The face detector tracks up to five faces per image, so up to five faces can be replaced in one group photo.

Can I use a different face for each person?

Not yet. Multiple face swap currently applies one reference face to every detected face. For a single person, use the photo face swap tool instead.

Why was one face skipped?

Small, blurred, heavily turned or partly hidden faces are harder to detect. A higher resolution photo where each face is clearly visible gives the most reliable results.
